General Construction Tradesmen & Foreman - Full Time

Job Description

Adventure Construction is looking for General Construction Tradesmen and/or Foreman as part of a larger crew that works together to complete large, complex building projects. 2-5 years experience preferred. Duties include but are not limited to: preparing a building’s foundation, framing, drywall installation, intermediate carpentry skills, siding installation, window installation, insulation, ability to climb scaffolding and work with machinery in unique spaces, carrying heavy supplies, and laying and cutting tile, and other such duties. Candidates will collaborate with Carpenters, Electricians, and Plumbers to outfit buildings with amenities in a safe and secure way. 

Job Requirements:

• 25+ years old
• 2-5 years experience in general construction skills: framing, siding, windows, etc.
• Experience driving with a loaded trailer on rough roads in all kinds of weather. 
• Experience in reading blueprints and other kinds of plans.
• Advanced math skills and ability for calculations for construction work.
• Mechanical skills to use tools, heavy machinery, and equipment used regularly on job sites.
• Physical strength when performing heavy labor; able to lift 50 lbs or more.
• Physical stamina to handle long hours of strenuous labor in extreme hot and cold conditions.
• Ability to drive to and from various job sites. Mileage is compensated when using a personal vehicle. 
• Ability to work 40+ hours per week. Salary is hourly and rate is based on experience. 
• Ability to work as a team with a variety of different contractor professionals.
• Ability to work with and train general laborers on skills to complete a job effectively and efficiently.

General Laborer - Seasonal

Job Description

Adventure Construction is looking for seasonal general laborers as part of a larger crew that works together to complete large, complex building projects. No experience needed, but preferred. Duties include but are not limited to: digging holes and trenches to prepare a building’s foundation, to break apart concrete structures, clear away debris and other hazards, and set up barriers around the construction site, to climb scaffolding, carrying heavy supplies, and laying bricks and tile, installing siding, framing and other such duties. Candidates will collaborate with Carpenters, Electricians, and Plumbers to outfit buildings with amenities in a safe and secure way. 

Job Requirements:

• 18+ years old
• Basic math skills and ability for calculations for construction work.
• Mechanical skills to use tools, heavy machinery, and equipment used regularly on job sites.
• Physical strength for performing heavy labor; able to lift 50 lbs or more.
• Physical stamina to handle long hours of strenuous labor in extreme hot and cold conditions.
• Ability to drive to and from various job sites. Mileage is compensated when using a personal vehicle.
• Job Requires travel; often overnight stays near job sites. 
• Ability to work 30-40 hours per week from June 1st, 2022 through August 31st, 2022. Salary is hourly and rate is based on experience. 
• Ability to work as a team with a variety of different contractor professionals.



Preferred Qualifications: 

• 1-2 years experience in general construction skills: framing, siding, windows, etc.
• Experience driving with a loaded trailer on rough roads in all kinds of weather.
